Lopez Plans on Reintroducing DREAM Act Bill in 2013

Del. Alfonso Lopez says he again will patron a bill in the 2013 General Assembly session that parallels proposed federal legislation to give children of undocumented immigrants the ability to attend institutions of higher education at lower cost.

  

“I will keep introducing my Virginia DREAM Act legislation every year until it becomes the law of the commonwealth,” Lopez (D-49th) told the Sun Gazette.
