Today I filed my paperwork to run for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates. Serving the 49th District and our community over the last six years has been one of the highest honors of my life. I hope I’ve earned your vote and the opportunity to keep fighting for our values and priorities in Richmond.

I am running for re-election because we deserve an open and welcoming Commonwealth that protects everyone and creates economic opportunity for all.

Now is the time to protect the progress we’ve made over the past eight years under President Obama and keep the Trump Administration and Republican-controlled Congress from taking our country backwards.

2017 is our chance to send a clear message that the hateful, divisive, and regressive policies coming out of Washington, D.C. do not represent our values in Virginia.

We believe in a Commonwealth that works for everyone, not just those at the top. We support investments in economic development, public education, transit & transportation infrastructure, a strong social safety net, small businesses, affordable housing, public safety, and environmental protections because these investments strengthen our community.
