Delegate Alfonso Lopez Wins The Endorsements of Two More Unions

IUPAT District Council 51 and Mid-Atlantic Pipe Trades Join Team Lopez Momentum

ARLINGTON, Va-- Delegate Lopez announces both the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades - District Council 51 and the Mid-Atlantic Pipe Trades Association endorsements for his re-election to the House of Delegates from the 49th District. IUPAT District Council 51 and the Mid-Atlantic Pipe Trades Association join a group of 10 Labor Unions and an Environmental organization as well as a list of over 76 elected officials, and community leaders in endorsing Alfonso Lopez.

Taylor II. “Our union and members need a strong progressive labor ally down in Richmond, and from fighting against right to work to fighting for PLAs, we know we have that in Alfonso Lopez."

Del. Alfonso Lopez is seeking re-election for the 49th district, which covers parts of South Arlington and eastern Fairfax Counties. Delegate Alfonso Lopez is focused on developing sustainable Affordable Housing funding, helping the immigrant community, increasing affordable quality healthcare access, investing in education, and expanding renewable energy use and investment in Virginia. His primary election will be held on June 11th.
